TEMPERED GLASS – Tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass.
TENSIOMETER – A mechanical device that measures the moisture content of a growing medium.
THERMAL BLANKET – A movable cover that is used at night to reduce the heat loss from the greenhouse.

Solution is drawn into the root medium by capillarity. The solution is reused each time the crop requires watering.
TRUSS – Structural framework used to support the roof.
TUBER – A short, fleshy, usually underground stem bearing minute scaly leaves, each of which bears a bud in its axil and is potentially able to produce a new plant (iris potato, caladium, tuberose begonia).
